    Having only recently moved from USA to good old UK, I have heard on the radio about a shipping area Finisterre. Can someone kindly tell me where it is please?

    		Finisterre, or Fitzroy, is the area off the western most coast of Spain off the Bay of Biscay. north of the area known as Trafalgar.

    		Finisterre means in French 'the end of the world'. It is also the name for the very westernmost tip of Brittany, but I don't know whether the sea around this cape bears the same name.
