Do you think in this question they want something as obscure as 'Noumea' or do they actually want a street name etc. I have looked all over the Net, and in in the Lonely Planet guide in the bookshop at lunchtime. 'Place des cocotiers' was mentioned in another qu on here but that is simply the name of the central square in Noumea. Your thoughts would be good, I love doing this Travel Trivia quiz too but there are often one or two which really stump me. If anyone is interested we could get a Sunday or Monday night chat room going on msn to help each other out. Any takers/volunteer hosts? Post your answers here too.

Yes I have noticed they have a habit of repeating themselves after a while so I have started keeping a scrapbook of the quizzes and the answers the following week!

Wendy I agree with you. I love to do this travel quiz each week and also find one or two hard. I would be happy to join a room to share information each week. Just tell me where and when. Good luck with the quiz.

I have no idea how to host a chat room but if someone else if prepared to do it it could be fun don't you think. How about you tomfromoz? I use msnchat a bit so will keep looking here for room name etc if someone else is prepared to do it.

Hi everyone. I think the answer is Noumea because that Place des Cocotiers is only a meeting place (square) opposite the Town Hall. I even phoned the Travel Info Centre and some type of Chamber of Commerce in Noumea today and they both said the same (aren't I keen !!!!!). Sometimes you don't really know which answer to put down. Last week for example, Mt. Gibraltor has four lookouts and one of them looks over Mittagong and another over Bowral. The answer was Bowral but I'm pretty sure it's been Mittagong in the past. Would be very interested in a chat site but I'm another one who wouldn't know where to start though. Good luck everyone.

Wendy, Hi I also do the Travel Quiz each week, actually I'm addicted to it and it really bugs me if I cant find the answers. I have kept the Travel sections from February, and even looking through those issues I cant find anything on New Caledonia, or anywhere else on the Internet. I would love to join your chat room, I think a lot of people would be interested. Good luck. Marly

All Travel Trivia quizzers are welcome to use the forum called 'I Need An Answer.' Some of the other quiz players have opened special threads to discuss their particular quiz questions. It's not a chat room, but you can feel free to carry on conversations. There are other features over there as well, such as the use of emoticons and pictures. Here's the forums link: http://www.funtrivia.com/forums_real/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi
