Although your question is incorrectly worded (he wasn't a 'fugitive' prophet), I believe what you're looking for is Jesus. See Matthew 8:24-27 -- 24 And behold, there arose a great storm on the sea, so that the boat was being swamped by the {waves;} but he was asleep. 25 And they went and woke him, saying, 'Save, {Lord;} we are perishing.' 26 And he said to them, 'Why are you afraid, O men of little faith?' Then he rose and rebuked the winds and the {sea;} and there was a great calm. 27 And the men marveled, saying, 'What sort of man is this, that even winds and sea obey him?'

Fluff is correct - Jonah is the prophet. He had the biblical equivalent of a temper tantrum when God told him to go to Nineveh - he didn't agree, and went in the opposite direction!! Jonah Chap1 verse 5 is where Janet is referring to - Its a very good story!

I thought of Jesus but the key is fugitive and although Jesus may have been trying to escape the crowds that evening, I don't think it really counts. Jonah is the main man.

Remember Christians do not consider Jesus a prophet--he is in fact the Son of God. (Muslims, however, do consider him a prophet) It is most definitly Jonah. 'Jonah had gone down into the hold of the ship, and lay there fast asleep.' (Jonah 1:5)
