    Raymond

Pascal Lamorisse was the young son of the director Albert Lamorisse. I think you may be looking at two films - Crin Blanc (White stallion) in 1952 and Red Balloon 1956. The first won a grand award at the Cannes Film Festival for best short film, the second won best writing and best original screenplay Oscars in 1957. See www.imdb.com

If you referring to Red Balloon/White Mane (1952) and Red Balloon (1956) none of them won the Oscar Pascal Lamorisse is the actor and I found no reference that he ever directed a movie (according to imdb he was born in 1950) is father Albert Lamorisse is a director and directed those movies.
