Young people got their first taste of this new musical movement when 'Bringing It All Back Home' came out in March 1965. The recording featured both acoustic folk songs and grinding rockers and when 'Subterranean Homesick Blues' was released as a single that spring, the pop charts swung open to a whole new style of music. Bringing It All Back Home and Highway 61 Revisited were both certified gold on August 25, 1967. Both were released in 1965, however, Bringing It All Back Home was released first.
