    		When Solomon became King, God promised to give him anything he liked. But Solomon prayed for one thing only. Solomon asked God to give him wisdom so that he would be able to discern what is right and wrong, and also that he would be able to lead the people of Israel justly. God was so much pleased from Solomon's request, that He not only granted wisdom to Solomon, but also wealth, riches and honor so abundantly that no other king who was before Solomon and no one who came after Solomon had so much wisdom and riches (2nd Chron. 1:10-12).
