When and where did Ozzie Ozborn try to bite the head off a bat?

I don't have the answer but I can narrow it down . It was during a U.S tour in mid - 1981 . It was during a concert -- he'd picked up publicity for biting the head off a ( dead ) dove a few months earlier and maintains that when the bat was thrown on stage , he assumed it was dead and so put it in his mouth ( as you do ) . According to VH1 'Behind the Music' The Incident took place in 1982, not sure where. Apparently Ozzy routinely bit heads off rubber Bats. Some one tossed a comatose live Bat on the Stage, and he dug in. Jun 13 02, 4:04 AM
