From where comes the Celtic Cross?

To be even more specific, the Celtic Cross comes from Ireland, home of the Gaelic Celts. I don't think the Brythonic Celts (the ones that lived in Great Britain) ever produced Celtic Crosses.

There are Celtic crosses in some of the church yards around England so I think the Brythonic Celts must have produced them. Unless they imported them?
