What would happen if a non-diabetic took a shot of insulin?

Answer according to my Diabetic Sister - The Insulin would reduce the bodies Blood sugar and could produce a Hypo reaction (You pass out) however the normal body would react by producing Glycogen (natural blood sugar) and the reaction would be countered. It does depend on the amount of insulin (Diabetics do not all have the same specified dose per injection)and an overdose could be fatal.

I concur - my paramedic wife says depending on the time of day and the persons current blood sugar, as a rule a non diabetic would range for being unwell - lightheaded, nausiated, etc to unconscious.
