    I gave up smoking three years ago. I think the risk of coronary heart disease diminishes fairly rapidly - that's why I gave it up! If it took 25 years I wouldn't have bothered. I'd plump for 5 years because this is the sort of expectation that I had in mind in making the decision. If anyone finds a website that says it takes 25 years, you are dead meat!!!
