    Another site confirms this - before Seoul was built, it was Saitama that held the distinction.

    		Actually, it's not the one stated above. It's Bung Karno Stadium located in Jakarta. It can hold up to 100,800 people, but renovated and the capacity has been reduced to 88,000 people. Seoul can hold up to 68,476 people, Yokohama hold only 34,000 people, Kobe stadium holds 42,000 people, Busan stadium holds up to 43,864.
