I was thinking of a series I watched a couple of years ago involving two 18 year old sisters, a chip shop, and a rock and roll band set in the middle of England, but I can't remember the name of it. Can anyone help? This is a quizmail question. In the 1970s Victoria Wood was beaten in a television talent show series by Marti Caine. What was the title of that talent show. I think it was New Faces, but can't prove it one way or the other, can anyone give me a clue? I am trying to find the name of a comic book series that was set in space with the characters wearing roman dress (and I have the idea that one of the characters was called Trajan, but can't be sure). It was in some almanacs at my school library in the early 1980's. Can anyone help? I have just heard that there is a 'missing' episode of the television comedy series 'Fawlty Towers.' The episode was axed by the BBC because of its racist content. Can anyone tell me more about this, or at least confirm that this is true?
