The guy who played Big Ron, the market stall owner in Eastenders died while he was still on the show - I know he didnt have big storylines and that but I still remember him. They said his character he had won the lottery and got on a world cruise. And then went to live in spain. NOTE: The actor Ron Tarr died of cancer in October 1997 and was appearing in pre-recorded episodes several weeks after his death.
