Sorry if my first posting seemed rude, Santa - It's not easy to express yourself clearly with words on a screen! It's just that, considering this site is read by people of many nations, any inaccuracies, however obvious they may be to some of us, may not be so obvious to all - More than once I've used a search engine to try and find an answer to a question, only to discover later that the reason why I couldn't find it was because, unknown to me at the time, a certain part of the question had been mistyped, and so consequently my requests on Google produced nothing. The question concerned an actress named Samantha Caine, which had been typed as GAINE. Having never heard of such a lady, I was not aware of there being a typo. As I'm British, Samantha Caine is not a familiar name. The soap 'Neighbours' might be unfamiliar in other countries, too. , Goodness me, don't I go on and on once I get started!! Jul 05 02, 8:17 PM

I would like to provide an answer to your question. I know that Neighbours is both Australian and there is a different series by the same name in Britain. I actually watch the Australian Neighbours, but I can't think of who had a heartattack unless it was either Harold or Lou. Siskin...In answer to your question about the origins of my question--it was part of a trivia quiz--the question as it appeared on the quiz was 'In Neighbours, who did Madge cause to have a heart attack?And what were they doing that day?' Siskin...one bit of information about the quiz that this question was on...the object of the quiz is to see how long your question will last before someone gets it right---it is only replaced on the quiz when someone solves it (the solver gets to replace it with a question of their own), therefore it makes it a bit more plausible that it might just be a trick question...again, let me know what you think. Siskin...one more thing about the quiz---the person who asks the question needs to be able to back up his answer with 'hard evidence' -- the same applies to the solver who must be able to prove their answer correct (if the solvers answer differs from the questioners, the riddlemaster accepts the answer that can be backed up as being the correct answer) Jul 06 02, 8:54 PM

Neighbours is definitely made here in Australia and shown (and much loved) in Britain. It hasn't been very popular here for quite a while, and it would have been axed years ago but for it's overseas sales.
