    It was good to win it too. But at the time the South African Springboks were barred from international rugby and there was a strong feeling in NZ at the time that we were not truly the worlds best until we had beaten them. They are formidable opponents and play damned fine rugby. We are in fact playing them again in the Tri Nations series this saturday 20th July in Wellington having trounced the Aussies last saturday.
