The top two basketball prospects in next year's class of high school seniors are not likely to play a single game of college hoops. LeBron James and Kendrick Perkins are expected to head directly to the NBA. James is a 6-foot-7 small forward/wing guard from Akron (Ohio) St. Vincent. He's the Sports Illustrated cover boy who many pro scouts say could play in their league right now. In fact, James considered going to court for the right to play in the NBA following this, his junior year. http://www.fayettevillenc.com/obj_stories/2002/may/s07thad.shtml
