Hi, who wrote one of the most recognizable instrumental tv themes of all time, and wrote the signature tune for both Elvis and Frank Sinatra?

Question #21002. Asked by Julie. (Jul 30 02 5:16 PM)

    Fosse4

I've got 'My Way' and 'The Tonight Theme' written by Paul Anka - haven't a clue what you would call Presley's theme tune.

I agree with Fosse4, both Elvis and Sinatra recorded 'My Way' and thought of it as a signature tune. This was Paul Anka's reworking of a French song called Come d' Habitude. And of course, Anka wrote The Tonight Show theme song.
Horst Jankowski wrote Walk In The Black Forest, however, Bert Kaempfert wrote Strangers In The Night, another tune associated with Sinatra.

Paul Anka. He wrote "My Way" which was a signature tune for both Sinatra and Elvis, and he wrote the theme to "The Tonight Show"
