'Now is the winter of our discontent'is in the play. 'Winter of discontent' was a phrase used in the 70's in Britain.

TRue Sundayboy, and people are always cutting off the quote which means the opposite because what he is saying is that the winter of his discontent is now made glorious by this son/sun (geddit?)of York (ie Ed IV). People always leave that bit out.
