Is an IQ of 139 good?

I would say it is a 'good' score, but not many people pay much attention to IQ scores anymore. A high IQ only means you have potential, but not everyone uses it. That makes a person no better or less than anyone else. At one time, you had to have an IQ of 150 or higher to join Mensa, now you have to score in the 98 percentile of the particular test you take, since there are so many different tests. Andy	An IQ of 139 is excellent, considering the average person's IQ is 108. An IQ of 140 is deemed as genius, and Mensa will accept you if you can prove you got at least a 132 on a standardized IQ test. Aug 13 02, 9:00 PM
