He did have an older brother named Chuck in the original skit on 'Love, American Style' and in the first season of the series. He just disappeared with no explanation given in the second season. This is all from memory, since I was a big fan of the show from day one, as were most people around my age at the time. I remember my create writing teacher saying it was a fad and wouldn't be on the air long!! Now I am older I can totally relate, because that is how I felt about 'That 70's Show.'
