    Who named the Victoria Falls, and whomm was it named after?

    The name of Mosi-oa-Tunya for the waterfall was from the the Kololo people back in 1838, meaning 'the smoke that thunders'
    The modern name of 'Victoria falls' was given by explorer David Livingstone and named after Queen Victoria.
