There is a slow sad music piece in a village burning scene in the movie Platoon...could this be what you are thinking of. I don't know of any village burning scene in Apocalypse. Aug 15 02, 4:54 AM

ajdale - It might be an idea to look at 'Platoon' as Bryce suggested because the music is 'Adagio For Strings' by Samuel Barber and fits 'your music' exactly. Wagner's 'Ride of the Valkyries' plays through 'Apocolypse Now'. Aug 15 02, 12:36 PM
