A brief analysis of the butler shows a jealous servant close enough to the family fortune to where greed dominates and destroys the individual. In many family fortunes the butler can be bestowed the property ownership and control of the state. This inherent motive delivers potential motive to conclude the butler did in fact accomplish the dastardly deed that demolishes the conscious and forever ruins the positive forces within. The end result is a demise of misfortune, despair and even insanity especially if within the investigation, the evidence points into the direction of the butler.
