    Is Rugby played with or without pads?

    Rugby Union is traditionally played with out pads, but Rugby League is played with shoulder and chaest pads, but nothing like those astronaut suits that American footabllers use.

    Both Rugby League and Rugby Union are played without shoulder or chest pads.
