    In math, what is a Box-and-Whisker plot?

    Maths problem: Humans contribute 3% of CO2 currently. Does that mean they increase the amount by 3%, or something more complex. I can't cope with maths but guessing it's either the proportion 3 is of 100 or a simple 103% total which would be exactly 3%. So does producing 3% from a base of zero (for the maths rather than my example) increase by exactly 3% or are there more steps to calculate the increase?

    What did Sting teach before becoming a singer? LOS says music, but I, like others, think maths teacher. Do you know?
