What happened to southern England in October 87 wasn't offically a hurricane, it was just a very bad storm that Michael Fish failed to predict. It was the worst storm for about two hundred years and it did bring hurricane force winds, but it didn't have a name like proper hurricanes do. Sep 02 02, 12:33 AM
