Which countries own the largest portion of Antartica?

Question #22169. Asked by Dunc. (Sep 01 02 7:16 PM)

    Fosse4

By international agreement no countries own the land in Antarctica - it's considered to be non territorial. Each of the countries which have territories has them only for research purposes and each territory is available for all the other countries to enter and conduct research.
