What was the first capital of the Confederacy?

Question #22334. Asked by Jeff Davis.

    JustinViskoc

Interesting alias there, 'Jeff' Davis, but the first capital of the Confederacy was Montgomery, Alabama. Neat site I got that info from. Check out the history and the reasons why Montgomery was chosen.
