Relativism: any theory holding that criteria of judgment are relative, varying with individuals and their environments. Determinism: 1. the doctrine that all facts and events exemplify natural laws. 2. the doctrine that all events, including human choices and decisions, have sufficient causes. Relativism basically states that your local environment, and the local society you live are the determining factors of existence and development and they vary from place to place. While Determinism states that there are natural laws that govern existence and development and are applicable everywhere and to everyone. I'm sure this is an over simplistic Answer.
