    From what I've seen of the Islamic religion, it appears that only men attend mosques. Are women required to attend services of any kind?

    		Males over a certain age (puberty) are compeled to visit the mosque. It is opitonal for women as they have home duties. Most mosques have a separate place for women and children - the Regent's park mosque makes this a soundproof area!

    		In the mosques that I have been invited to the women have a seperate, galleried portion where they attend and pray. I don't know wether this is compulsory or not.
