    When guano (seabird excrement used as fertilizer) was a huge commodity in the C19th what would its face value (ie 1 ton = {$1000)} have approximately been?

    		The cost of Peruvian Guano was %A310 per ton in England , I dont know what the exchange rate in dollars was for about 1850.
