Buenos Aires lays claim on most sites with the Teatro Colon although another site mentions the Palais Garnier in Paris.

The Teatro Colon in Buenos Aires is large but not the largest. The Palais Garnier in Paris was the largest when it was built but isn't the largest now. I need the answer to this myself!

The Metropolitan is quite a bit larger than both the Palais Garnier (seats approx 1900) and the Colon (seats approx 2800). The Met seats about 3900.

He designed and build an opera house. Then he built the sculptures and designed the interior of that opera house. And sice that wasn't enough he also wrote an opera to be performed there. Finally, he conducted and starred in the opera in his opera house. Where is this opera house, what is the opera in question, and who was the man who created it all?

Which cith has the largest opera house?

I'm looking for the name of a TV mini series movie/show. We had rented them from the video store. It's about a boy who is traveling to different worlds looking for pieces of a machine to get him back home (I think.) He is gathering something along his way. He travels to different worlds with a "professor" and maybe another person. Along the way he visits 5-8 different worlds (each was a different movie.) They were all entitled "Somebody and the Land of ???" One world had to do with giant eggs, one world a town of toys, and the end was a land something like a fantasy "Camelot." My children watched these movies anywhere from 1988 - 1993. I'm hoping someone can help me end my frazzled search.
