    Would you classify Cuba as part of Latin-America, or is the Caribbean a completely seperate region?

    		Encyclopaedia Britannica includes the Caribbean in Latin America. It says 'the countries of South America and North America (including Central America and the islands of the Caribbean) whose inhabitants speak a Romance language'.

    It also points out that French-speaking islands in the Caribbean are technically part of Latin America as well, but are often excluded because people think of Latin America as Spanish and Portuguese speaking only.
