Considering food is fuel for our bodies it would stand to reason that if one is hungry all the time they are not getting enough fuel and would be very tired.

Your metabolism would slow down and your senses would be geared for the hunt for food for survival. When you have eaten the act of digestion takes blood away from the brain which makes you drowsy. Source - personal experience. There must be a point where if no food has sustained you for a considerable time, then you will become to weak to function normally and you would fall unconscious. But as I own a credit card and Tesco's is only 200 metres away I have been fortunate enough not to put this to the test.

I suppose that without carbon fuel, your body would sort of begin to shut down. You'd get lethargic and bloated and eventually die of this.
