Who started American Football's famous 'Lambeo Leap' (sic) in Greenbay?

Question #22729. Asked by Vince. (Sep 22 02 3:59 PM)

    Andy

That would be Leroy Butler, the safety for the Green Bay Packers. It was started in December 1993. In a game against the Raiders, Butler forced a fumble that Reggie White recovered. White pitched the ball to Butler, and Butler ran for his first touchdown in his career. That's when he jumped into the stands, inventing the famous 'Lambeau Leap'.
