I am trying to find the name of a comic book series that was set in space with the characters wearing roman dress (and I have the idea that one of the characters was called Trajan, but can't be sure). It was in some almanacs at my school library in the early 1980's. Can anyone help?

This series was called 'The Trigan Empire'. There were three brothers, Trigo, Brad? and an evil one. Trigo became the emperor. This appeared in the comic book 'Look and Learn' in the 1960s, but it sounds like it was repeated in the 1980s, perhaps in a different comic book. Sep 24 02, 10:22 PM

I am trying to remember the name of this American author, who I think lived around the late 1800's and wrote many 'rags to riches' stories. Can anyone jog my memory? Need some help here from Douglas Adams fans...I am almost certain this is a quote from a Douglas Adams book. I am pretty sure it starts a chapter, and goes,"And it rained a [something silly,] and it rained a [something else silly] and it rained [some silly things.] I thought it would be in "So Long And Thanks for All The Fish," since it has a rain theme, but I'm not seeing it there. Help! Can anyone name any famous scientists who were also clerics or church ministers as I am trying to identify a photograph of such a person dressed in a cleric outfit that looks 19th or 20th century, wearing round spectacles? I once read a poem by James Cavanaugh called "My House Burned Down Today". Can anyone help me find it again?
