    OXFORD
    Basic English language requirements are:
    Degree study:
    Paper-based TOEFL: 550
    Computer-based TOEFL: 207
    IELTS: 6.0
    Postgraduate study:
    Paper-based TOEFL: 550 to 600
    Computer-based TOEFL: 207 to 260
    IELTS: 6.0 to 7.0
    Flexible start dates are available - January entry for some undergraduate degrees.

    CAMBRIDGE
    All applicants are normally expected to hold or to be about to achieve:
    a 1st class or 2i honours degree from a UK university
    an equivalent standard from an overseas university (in the US system a CGPA of at least 3.5 is normally required)
    a fluent command of the English Language (see below)
    completion of any current training or education course
    release from your current institution for the duration of your study (if you are coming to Cambridge as a visitor).
    Some faculties and departments may require you to take other tests such as the GRE

    We call them Universities here.
    Did you mean as an undergraduate or postgraduate?
    Oxford and Cambridge Universities are divided into several colleges.
    Have a look at www.ox.ac.uk and www.cam.ac.uk, and don't listen to the cynics who say 'money'. Plenty of poor students study there too.
