From 1920 when the NFL started as the American Professional Football Association (became the NFL after two seasons, in 1922), through to the end of the 2001 season, the top 11 should look like this, if I've made no add errors:- wins 632 Chicago, 1920- 590 Green Bay, 1921- 546 NY Giants, 1925- 506 Redskins, 1932- 470 Rams, 1937- 468 Pittsburgh, 1933- 459 Detroit, 1930- 439 49ers, 1950- 429 Cardinals, 1920- 427 Philadelphia, 1937- 390 Cleveland, 1950- Source: http://www.football-reference.com
The figures for the 49ers and Browns exclude wins in the AAFC 1946-47-48-49 (not recognised by the NFL, unlike the AFL 1960-1969).
All-time NFL win-loss records:
Here's a complete record prior to the 2002 season starting (it includes play-off games.)
