    What is Florida Water?

    The obvious answer is that it is the company that controls the water in Florida but I don't suppose that that is the correct answer. :)

    Now this is more likely to be the correct answer. A Victorian Perfume. Florida Water-Citrus-based American variant on Eau de Cologne from 1856.

    When I lived in Florida we called iced tea 'Florida Water,' because people drank that instead of water in restaurants.
