    Q23010 spawned this question for me, Pilate is supposed to be doomed to walk the earth until judgement day, I wonder has anyone has seen him lately and what is his job?

    		I've never heard of Pilate being condemned to walk the earth. This story is usually told about the mythical 'Wandering Jew'.

    Sightings of the Jew were quite frequent in the Middle Ages. The last reported encounter was in Salt Lake City in 1868, when a Mormon called O'Grady claimed to have met him.
