    		Though Star Trek's 1968 episode Plato's Stepchildren was the first US show to have an interracial kiss, the first show ever was the UK broadcast Emergency Ward 10. The year was 1964.

    		The first interracial kiss on American TV took place November 22, 1968 between Captain James T. Kirk (William Shatner) and Lt. Uhura (Nichelle Nichols) on an episode of Star Trek.
