'Hao iu stap?' means 'How are you?' Also means 'How are you going?' Hao(how) iu(you) stap(stopping i.e 'going!') stap(intransitive verb)= be,remain,rest,be in progress,be present I've never seen 'yu' printed as 'iu' before Yet another typo on The Quiz! Another is 'Yu stap gut?' meaning 'Are you well?' (gut=good) 'Mi hamamas long lukim yu' means 'I am happy to see you.' Also used in conversation. Makes people very happy.
