    1st Test 32 and 104 v England at Melbourne 1901-02
    Last Test 146 v England at The Oval 1905 (his 22nd Test match)

    WH Ponsford Australia
    1st Test 110 and 27 v England at Sydney 1924-25
    Last Test 266 and 22 v England at The Oval 1934 (his 29th Test match)

    GS Chappell Australia
    1st Test 108 v England at Perth 1970-71
    Last Test 182 v Pakistan at Syney 1983-84 (his 87th Test match)

    M Azharuddin India (assuming he will not play again)
    1st Test 110 v England at Calcutta 1984-85
    Last Test 9, 102 v S Africa at Bangalore 1999-00 (his 99th Test match)

    Note: Chappell and Azhar are the only batsmen to do in their first and last innings.

    		Bit of a cheat but what about Rodney Redmond (NZ) and Andy Ganteaume (WI)?

    They made a 100 in their first and last tests - they only played one test!

    Redmond got 107 and 56. Ganteaume 112 in his only innings.
