Of what is St. Giles the Patron Saint?

    Question #23480. Asked by mk2.

    Tabby Tom

The Oxford Dictionary of Saints describes Giles as the patron of cripples, lepers and nursing mothers. Other sources also make him the patron of beggars, blacksmiths and travellers (though travellers are more usually considered to be under the protection of the probably non-existent St Christopher)
