When given anesthesia before surgery, why does the doctor have us count backwards from 100 rather than just counting 1, 2, 3, etc.? I've come across a football team from England called Leigh RMI, I'm just wondering where they are from exactly and what does the RMI stand for? Does anyone have any other wierd sayings like "I'd give my eyeteeth for",or, "they were just milling around",etc, and is there a website to find the origins of such sayings?
