This doesn't answer the question but thought you might like to be amazed as I {was;} ... A Pentium 4 processor today has 42 million transistors. The 'TeraHertz' transistor will be able to switch on and off more than a trillion times per second. ... Read that again. Not reading the question literally and according to this site, http://mathworld.wolfram.com/LargeNumber.html quadrillion is the word used in America. Britain did not have one, but are now using the American system.
