Sorry I cannot work out (0.0001 multiplied by 2 to the power of 50) in my head but it must be about 110,000,000,000 inches or about 1,736,111 miles

Doubling it fifty times (if it were practicable) would give a pile that was the 50th power of two times the original thickness. This is 1,125,899,906,842,620 times a ten-thousandth of an inch, or 112,589,590,684 inches, i.e. about 1,776,988 and a half miles.
