    June 21 is called the longest day of the year. What day of the year is longer than that day?

    		The North and South poles each experience a 'day' which is six months long. This is longer than the day of June 21.

    The day that the clocks change from Daylight Saving Time to normal time is 25 hours long. In Europe this happened Sun 20 Oct 2002.

    		And the 'true solstice' can be June 22nd, too, with about 2 more minutes of sunlight than June 21st on those occasions.
