Why do men snore more than women?

I'm assuming this is not a trick question! '..until now, the mystery behind why men are more prone to snore has been unsolved. Researchers at Western General Hospital in Edinburgh, however, believe the bulk of neck muscle in men is to blame. They found that while there are small differences in the way that fat is distributed between men and women, the biggest difference 'is likely to be in muscle bulk which could become a problem when people go to sleep.' What do men do, that's physical, five more times a day than women? This is not a sexist question but let's face it, women cry more often than men. Why?
