When racer #1 reached the finish line of a 50 mile race, racer #2 was 2 miles behinf him. The next day they raced again, but racer #1 started 2 miles behind racer #2, who began at the same starting line as the day before. Assuming they cycled at the same speeds as the day before, who won the race?

Racer#1 would still win. If racer#1 raced at 50mph then racer#2 would only be travelling at 48mph. Racer#2 would take 1 hour 2.5 minutes to complete the 50 miles but racer #1 would have travelled 52.08333 miles so would have overtaken the other before the finish
